Naming Spaces is built to be private by design. The short version: the app collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.

Data we collect

None. Naming Spaces does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. There are no user accounts and no sign-in.

Your Space names

The names you give your desktop Spaces are stored locally on your Mac, inside the app's sandbox container. They never leave your device. Removing the app removes this data.

Network

The app makes no network connections. It contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Opening a link to this website from within the app uses your default web browser, just like clicking any other link.

Sandboxing and permissions

Naming Spaces is fully sandboxed by macOS and requests no special permissions: no accessibility access, no screen recording, and no access to your files, contacts, or location.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
