A little badge shows up on every desktop Space you visit. Click it, type a name (Writing, Client X, That One With All The Tabs), hit Return. Done!
Always know where you are
The badge and the menu bar show the name every time you come back, and the menu lists all your Spaces at a glance. No more Desktop roulette.
Private by design
Everything stays on your Mac. No account, no network, no data collected. Not even a little bit. Fully sandboxed, zero permissions.
How it works
macOS won't hand an app a list of your Spaces (we asked nicely), so naming happens as you wander through them, one click each.
Visit a Space
Switch to any desktop Space. A small badge shows up, reading “Unnamed” at first. It's not judging you.
Click the badge
Type a name, hit Return. That's it. That's the whole trick.
It's named
The name shows on the badge and in the menu bar every time you come back. FLAWLESS LOGIC!
After the app restarts, badges read “Click to Assign” until you visit each Space and reconnect its name in one click. Your names are never lost. Why?
